Currently, Samer is living in Austria, finishing his Master study Program of Contemporary Dance Performance, Movement Research, and Dance Pedagogy at the Anton Bruckner private university, Linz. He is creating intercultural dance performances, workshops, and regular classes with the ambition to share his experience in contemporary dance and Eastern arts. Next to that, he is collaborating on the development of other dance and international film projects.




Samer started his career as professional dancer  with ‘JULLANAR’ dance company in Syria, for years collecting an extensive experience in various types of folk dances and eastern arts integrating various contemporary and ballet techniques. His tours around Asia, Europe and Middle East,  giving him a chance to meet and exchange knowledge with artists from different artistic backgrounds  from all around the world.

He joined later ‘SIMA’ dance company  (A company founded by dancers from the High Institute of Arts, Damascus, Syria).  After the critical crises started in Syria the company had to move to Beirut, Lebanon, and decided to keep going for their passion for dance  and life as well and reestablish itself by giving workshops, building repertories and performing as freelance dance artists while keeping a strong collaborative working spirit. The company won the First prize of Arab’s Got Talent 3 in 2013.


Samer also working as a choreographer and art director for AG concept - (event planning company based in Beirut, Cairo and Dubai). And he  leaded several successful projects like:


  • Theatrical Show ‘’A Story of Dream’’ as Choreographer and Director, Beirut.


  • Show of “Pleine Nature Bridal Show’’ as Choreographer and Director, Beirut.


  • Opening and Closing Ceremonies for “Al Fujaira Mono Drama Festival” as Choreographer, EAU.


  • “The Culture Month platform” as Choreographer, EAU, Alein Emirate.
